Based in Ashby De La Zouch, we offer a Premium Dog Boarding service where we place more importance on the 'Quality' of care your Dog receives while they are with us.

We provide a limited number of spaces. This enables us to focus on providing your furry family member a more individual experience by giving them lots of attention.

Joining our own dog family, your pet will receive lots of cuddles and enjoy daily walks and when the British weather is less than helpful we can offer extended playtimes in our large, safe, secure, pet friendly garden.

We are licensed with North West Leicestershire: NWL/ HB22

... Vinnie (7 year old English Springer Spaniel)

Loves chasing tennis balls and socialising with other dogs. Really friendly.

... Bailey (4 year old Cocker Spaniel)

Our 'mother hen'. Loves cuddles and affection. Takes care of the family.

... Cookie (3 year old Cocker Spaniel)

Full of energy (can't find how to take her batteries out!) . Loves playing with other dogs.

We offer full Dog Boarding so we can take great care of your dog while you are away offering a proper 'home from home' experience with full access to our house and a large secure dog friendly garden.

Murphy

Murphy, Candice & Greg ...

We recently left Murphy with Cosy Canine Club Ashby for his first ever stay away from us, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a more reassuring experience.

Before we even booked, they welcomed us for a meet and greet with their own dogs so we could see how everyone got along, which immediately put us at ease. They took lots of information about Murphy, his routine, likes and habits beforehand too, so it was clear from the start that they genuinely wanted to get to know him and make his stay as comfortable as possible.

While we were away, the communication was brilliant. We had regular messages, photos and videos, updates on how he was eating and sleeping, where they’d been walking and, importantly for me, how he was getting on with the other dogs. As this was the first time we’d ever left him, those little updates made such a difference and meant I could actually relax knowing he was happy and being really well cared for.

He had plenty of walks and playtime with their own gorgeous dogs, and even had a trip to Camp Timbertail, which we already knew was one of his favourite places. He was completely treated as part of the family — including sleeping with his hosts overnight!

Their home environment is lovely, with a really secure garden, plenty of shade and lots of space for the dogs to play and relax. Most importantly, they are clearly genuine dog people who really care about the dogs staying with them.

The only practical thing I’d mention for anyone booking is that the initial paperwork is probably easiest completed on a laptop or printed and filled in. There is quite a lot of information to provide, but actually I found that reassuring because it meant they knew so much about Murphy and his individual needs before he stayed.

We came home to a very happy, very well-looked-after Murphy and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cosy Canine Club Ashby. I’d feel completely comfortable leaving him in their care again 🐾

We couldn’t recommend Cosy Canine Club Ashby highly enough! Julie and Andy were absolutely amazing with our two dogs, Ralphie and Roma, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away.

We received regular updates with lots of lovely photos, so we always knew they were happy, settled and being so well looked after. It was clear they were treated like part of the family.

In fact, Ralphie and Roma enjoyed themselves so much they didn’t even want to come home! We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Cosy Canine Club Ashby again, and our dogs will definitely be staying with Julie and Andy in the future. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of them!

They are always quick to respond to queries and are friendly and professional. The love for what they do is very apparent.

They are amazing with our dog Skye and she absolutely loves her time with them and their adorable dogs. We love the regular updates and photos they send us when Skye is with them and can see from the photos, the fun she is having. Cosy Canine Club Ashby looked after our 1 year old cockapoo so wonderfully, and we couldn’t be happier with the care he received. From the moment we arrived, Julie and Andy gave us such a warm welcome and immediately put us at ease, knowing Waffle was in the very best hands.

He had the most amazing time during his stay – enjoying lots of cuddles, splashing around in the paddling pool, and making a new best friend, Cookie! It was clear from the updates and photos that he was having an absolute blast and was being treated with so much love, attention, and care.

We came home to a happy, relaxed pup, which says everything about the fantastic environment they provide.

I was apprehensive about leaving our dog with a new pet sitter but I couldn’t have been happier with how well she was looked after whilst we were on holiday.

She didn’t want to come home!

Julie and Andy are true animal lovers and incredibly attentive to the individual needs of each dog.

What can I say - we are so thankful to Julie & Andy for giving our Snoop a chance.

Although slightly different to your ‘normal dog’ this didn’t phase them at all and Snoop was treated like any other - with so much love, affection and care from the minute he arrived. We had regular updates throughout the day and he seemed to be having a ball socialising with their 3 lovely doggies, playing with all of toys available and definitely receiving an abundance of cuddles!!

We recently used Julie & Andy for boarding our dog Teddy and honestly couldn’t recommend them more.

They treated Teddy like one of their own from the moment he arrived. We had daily updates with photos and videos which made such a difference and completely put our minds at ease while we were away.

It was so clear how much care, attention and love he was getting – from long walks to playtime (and lots of cuddles!). He settled in straight away and looked so happy and relaxed the whole time.

Teddy absolutely loved it there… I’m not convinced he even wanted to come home!

Fantastic experience! Our Cocker Spaniel, Ernie, stayed at Cosy Canine Club Ashby while we were in New York, and we couldn’t have asked for better care.

We received daily photo and video updates, which was so reassuring, and it was clear he was having a great time and getting on wonderfully with their dogs. He enjoyed it so much he almost seemed disappointed to come home!
